Bruno Henrique a doubt for Flamengo’s Recopa clash with Lanús | OneFootball

Bruno Henrique missed Flamengo’s semi-final against Madureira with pain in the pubis and is not yet confirmed for Thursday’s Recopa meeting with Lanús.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward reacted well to training on Tuesday, though he remains under close assessment by medical and fitness staff. Wednesday’s final session at Ninho do Urubu, scheduled for 15:30 Brasília time, is set to decide his availability.

Midfielder Jorginho and forward Wallace Yan are also racing to be fit, having joined in for part of Tuesday’s work with team-mates. Jorginho has been sidelined since early February with a serious thigh muscle injury, while Wallace Yan has missed recent matches due to muscle pain.

Flamengo host Lanús at Maracanã on Thursday at 21:30 Brasília time, with more than 60,000 expected in the stands. The match will be shown on ESPN and via streaming on Disney Premium.

After a 1-0 defeat in Argentina, Flamengo must win by two goals to lift the trophy. A victory by a single goal would take the tie to extra time or, if needed, penalties.
