With his Benfica future uncertain, Bruma could be heading for a loan move away from the Luz.

O JOGO reports that Saudi side Al Diriyah, coached by Bruno Lage, are considering a loan for the 31-year-old winger to strengthen their attack, with the coach knowing him from their time at Benfica.

The Portugal international has two years left on his contract and is not in Marco Silva’s plans for the new season. He has also been linked with a switch to Türkiye.

Bruma joined Benfica from Braga in January 2025 in a deal valued at six million euros, but his impact was curtailed by fitness problems.

In the second half of 2024/25 he played 763 minutes, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Last season he managed only 19 minutes across three appearances.

The switch could offer a reset, and Lage’s involvement may be decisive as Bruma seeks regular minutes and a larger role.
