Bruno Sá slams late Porto penalty at the Dragão, calls it a disgrace

Sporting presidential candidate Bruno Sá has condemned the penalty awarded to Porto against Arouca at the Dragão, calling it a disgrace, according to O Jogo.

Porto won 3-1. The late spot kick put the league leaders 2-1 up before they added a third.

Sá said the decision felt like a bad joke yet it really happened. He argued officials had the nerve to award a penalty in that incident and insisted VAR had multiple camera angles to correct a poor call.

He added that it seems not to matter and that, week after week, everything is treated as acceptable.

The businessman is standing to lead Sporting, with the presidential election scheduled for 14 March.
