Manchester United overcame Brighton and Hove Albion 4-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The result saw United briefly climb into the top four and they now have more points than Liverpool. They also have the same number as rivals Manchester City.
The victory had numerous top performers for the Red Devils, especially in the first 70 minutes of action when United found themselves 3-0 up.
81% of supporters emphatically voted for the Cameroonian attacker as their player of the match.
Mbeumo scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season and was in truth, a constant thorn in the side of the Seagulls all match.
He linked up the play well and showed some silky touches to control the ball.
His biggest contributions came with two lethal finishes in front of the Stretford End that secured the victory for his side.
After scoring at Anfield the previous Sunday, it capped quite the week for the summer signing.
9% of fans voted for fellow summer signing, Matheus Cunha.
On any other day Cunha probably would have easily deserved the man of the match award, only highlighting how special Mbeumo was.
Cunha opened his goalscoring account for United with a beautiful finish from range.
The Brazilian showed significant flashes of quality in attack but was also a menace defensively, regularly tracking back and hounding the Brighton players on the ball.
Few players have turned their fortunes around under Ruben Amorim like the Brazilian.
The manager pinpointed the player as an example of where hard work can get you. He revealed that the Brazil international was at the bottom of the midfield options when he took over but he has fought his way back into being a key member of the first eleven.
The 33 year old scored a goal and grabbed an assist on a productive evening as 6% named him player of the match.
Matthijs de Ligt’s start to the season may have gone under the radar a bit but he has been incredible since the start of the season.
He has quickly transformed into United’s most important defender and put in another masterclass on Saturday.
3% gave him the player of the match award.
The remaining 1% voted for the improving Luke Shaw or someone else in the team.
