Bukayo Saka has taken to Instagram to share an exciting update for Arsenal fans as he nears a return to action following three months out with a hamstring injury.

Saka underwent hamstring surgery and has not played for the Gunners since December.

But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed before the international break that the winger would return to team training over the break in action.

“Hopefully he’ll have the ball more at his feet than his hands so that will mean that he’s passing the ball and shooting and running and everything,” Arteta joked ahead of the win over Chelsea.

“He’s done quite a lot already on the pitch but everything on his own, that’s true.

“The next bit is to integrate with people around him, with players around him, and take part in more competitive training sessions and see how he copes with that.

“He’s getting closer, he’s stepping up and making a very good progress I would say.

“So, let’s see when we start to throw him in with the team, how he reacts and how fit he can get quickly.”

And now Saka has taken to Instagram to share a picture of him in training with the caption ‘hello again’, raising hopes that he could be back imminently.

Arsenal face Real Madrid in the Champions League on 8 April in the first-leg of the quarter-finals before the second-leg in Madrid on 16 April and the hope is that Saka will be back in time to take part in the fixtures.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, are sweating on the outcome of a UEFA investigation into four of their star players for their celebrations after the round of 16 win over Atletico Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Antonio Rudiger and Dani Ceballos are all facing the threat of bans for alleged indecent conduct.
