Some players simply canât be stopped - and Bunny Shaw is one of them.
Weâre only five games into the Womenâs Super League season, yet the Manchester City striker has already scored four goals.
Her latest comes in a crunch clash against Arsenal at the Joie Stadium, with Shawâs header proving the difference between the two sides at half-time.
Ten minutes before the break, Kerstin Casparij broke free from her marker, surged forward and whipped a dangerous cross into the box.
As she so often does, Shaw reacted quickest. She barely had to leave the ground to meet it, powering a bullet header into the back of the net to fire the hosts in front.
Five minutes later, Casparij almost found the back of the net herself but was denied by the offside flag.
City may be left ruing the missed opportunity as Mariona Caldentey fired Arsenal back on level terms at the start of the second-half. Game on!
