According to reports, the likelihood of the offer being accepted remains slim, as Brugge is holding out for more than €20 million for their player. The 24-year-old, who has earned 23 caps for Nigeria, is keen on a move to the Bundesliga, a switch he already considered last summer.

This season, he has featured in 15 matches and scored once in the Jupiler Pro League. His contract with Brugge runs until June 2027. Wolfsburg is pushing to seal the deal before the end of the winter transfer window.
