With the 13th matchday of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season in the books, Bulinews Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has selected his Team of the Week, which lines up in a 4-2-2-2 formation:

Goalkeeper:

Defenders:

Konrad Laimer, FC Bayern

Energetic as always, Laimer contributed both defensively and offensively, scoring a goal in Bayern's 5-0 thrashing of Stuttgart.

Nico Schlotterbeck, Borussia Dortmund

BVB’s defensive leader won seven of eight duels for the ball and scored a well-taken goal.

Patrick Mainka, Heidenheim

Strong performance from the Heidenheim skipper, who got on the scoresheet and won an impressive nine duels.

Dimitrios Giannoulis, Augsburg

Involved in both of Augsburg’s goals against Bayer Leverkusen, scoring one and assisting the other in his team’s 2-0 victory.

Midfielders:

Albert Sambi Lokonga, Hamburger SV

A strong presence in central midfield for HSV, Lokonga scored, won nine duels and completed 89% of his passes.

Christoph Baumgartner, RB Leipzig

Produced two assists and a goal in Leipzig’s 6-0 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt.

Yan Diomande, RB Leipzig

The star of the show in Leipzig’s big win, Diomande scored a remarkable hat-trick.

Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Bayern’s French star winger didn’t score himself but provided two assists as Bayern routed Stuttgart 5-0.

Strikers:

Harry Kane, FC Bayern

Came on around the hour mark and still impressively scored a hat-trick in Bayern’s 5-0 demolition of Stuttgart.

Conrad Harder, RB Leipzig

Finally scored his first goal for Leipzig and then set up Christoph Baumgartner for the second with a well-placed pass. An important and hardworking presence up front throughout the match.
