With Matchday 24 behind us, Bulinews Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has selected his Team of the Week, which lines up in an attacking 4-1-3-2 formation:
Nikola Vasilj, St. Pauli
St. Pauli secured a highly surprising 1-0 win away against in-form Hoffenheim, thanks in no small part to Vasilj. The goalkeeper was exceptional, making 11 saves to secure a clean sheet.
Jamie Leweling, Stuttgart
Operating as a wing-back, Leweling was central to Stuttgart’s dominant 4-0 win over Wolfsburg, scoring an impressive brace and driving the team forward on the right side.
Kevin Diks, Borussia Mönchengladbach
Kept his composure to convert a late penalty, sealing a much-needed win for Gladbach. Beyond that, he delivered a solid defensive display, winning all his ground duels and contributing effectively to build-up play.
Keven Schlotterbeck, Augsburg
A rock at the back for Augsburg, Schlotterbeck won six duels, made a vital clearance off the line, and completed 94% of his passes.
Daniel Svensson, Borussia Dortmund
Set up Dortmund’s opener with a precise assist and later scored a brilliant goal himself. He also did well to keep Michael Olise relatively quiet.
Angelo Stiller, Stuttgart
Dominant in the centre, Stiller completed 89% of his passes, including three key balls and won six of eight duels.
Yan Diomande, RB Leipzig
The pacey forward dazzled with four successful dribbles, two key passes and a well-taken goal, helping Leipzig secure a 2-1 win over HSV.
Romano Schmid, Werder Bremen
Schmid impressed with vision and creativity, providing four key passes and an assist in Werder’s win over Heidenheim. Also came close to scoring himself.
Jean-Matteo Bahoya, Eintracht Frankfurt
A standout performer since Albert Riera took over as Eintracht coach, Bahoya scored a fine goal and completed five dribbles against Freiburg.
Harry Kane, FC Bayern
Kane proved decisive once again, scoring a brace to lead Bayern to a thrilling 3-2 victory over rivals Borussia Dortmund.
Deniz Undav, Stuttgart
A constant menace in attack, Undav scored a well-taken goal and produced two key passes in Stuttgart's comfortable win.
