Matchday 24’s standout performers are named in a 4-1-3-2 Team of the Week. According to BuLi News, Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff picked the XI after a weekend of eye-catching displays.
Nikola Vasilj, St. Pauli, produced 11 saves to shut out in-form Hoffenheim in a shock 1-0 away win.
Jamie Leweling, Stuttgart, was outstanding at wing-back, scoring twice and powering the right flank in the 4-0 over Wolfsburg.
Kevin Diks, Borussia Mönchengladbach, kept his nerve to bury a late penalty and impressed at the back, winning every ground duel and using the ball well.
Keven Schlotterbeck, Augsburg, anchored the defence, won six duels, cleared off the line and completed 94% of his passes.
Daniel Svensson, Borussia Dortmund, assisted the opener then added a superb goal, while limiting Michael Olise’s influence.
Angelo Stiller, Stuttgart, controlled midfield, completing 89% of his passes, supplying three key balls and winning six of eight duels.
Yan Diomande, RB Leipzig, sparkled with four successful dribbles, two key passes and a composed finish in a 2-1 win over HSV.
Romano Schmid, Werder Bremen, created four key passes and an assist against Heidenheim, and almost scored.
Jean-Matteo Bahoya, Eintracht Frankfurt, continued his surge under Albert Riera, netting stylishly and completing five dribbles versus Freiburg.
Harry Kane, FC Bayern, struck a brace to clinch a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund.
Deniz Undav, Stuttgart, was a constant threat, finishing smartly and laying on two key passes.
