The standout performers from Bundesliga Matchday 29 have been named in the latest Team of the Week, with Bayern and Stuttgart strongly represented and RB Leipzig’s late drama recognised.

In goal, Moritz Nicolas made 11 saves for Borussia Mönchengladbach, yet could not stop a 1-0 loss at RB Leipzig. At the back, Konrad Laimer typified Bayern’s intensity, winning four duels, completing 89 percent of his passes and supplying an assist. Leverkusen captain Robert Andrich struck a superb long-range goal, defended reliably and completed 88 percent.

Jeff Chabot was rock solid in Stuttgart’s 4-0 win over Hamburger SV, winning 11 duels and completing 92 percent of his passes. Maximilian Mittelstädt also impressed, winning eight duels and scoring.

Leon Goretzka delivered a goal and assist in Bayern’s 5-0 defeat of FC St. Pauli, adding 90 percent passing and three duels won. Angelo Stiller dictated for Stuttgart and scored in the rout of HSV. Yan Diomande completed eight dribbles and hit Leipzig’s late winner against Gladbach.

Jamal Musiala persisted despite mixed moments, completing three dribbles and three key passes, scoring the opener and later assisting for Bayern. Mathias Honsak led Heidenheim past Union Berlin with a brace in a 3-1 victory.

Up front, Nicolas Jackson started with Harry Kane rested and contributed a goal and an assist in Bayern’s commanding win over FC St. Pauli.
