With Matchday 33 of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season in the books, Bulinews.com Editor-in-Chief Rune Gjerulff has picked his Team of the Week, this time lining up in a 4-5-1 formation.

Goalkeeper

Gregor Kobel, Borussia Dortmund

He may have conceded twice against Bayer Leverkusen, but neither goal was his fault-  and with eight saves, he saved Borussia Dortmund on multiple occasions.

Defenders

Jeremie Frimpong, Bayer Leverkusen

Posed a big threat down the right for Leverkusen, particularly in the first half, scoring and providing two key passes.

Amos Pieper, Werder Bremen

Pieper played a pivotal role in Werder Bremen’s clean sheet against RB Leipzig, winning 75% of his duels, making six clearances, and completing 93% of his passes.

Jeff Chabot, Stuttgart

Delivered an impressive performance in Stuttgart’s 4-0 win despite losing his centre-back partner, Finn Jeltsch, to an early injury. He won eight out of nine duels and completed 96% of his passes.

Philipp Mwene, Mainz

Mwene scored for Mainz, won five of seven ground duels, and completed 87% of his passes in their 4-1 win over Bochum.

Midfielders

Enzo Millot, VfB Stuttgart

Made a strong impact off the bench, distributing the ball well while registering both a goal and an assist.

Adrian Beck, Heidenheim

Bagged a brace as Heidenheim secured three vital points against Union Berlin.

Karim Adeyemi, Borussia Dortmund

Adeyemi was very clinical in the final third, scoring and providing an assist in Dortmund's 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen

Paul Nebel, Mainz

Nebel scored and provided an assist, while also completing two dribbles in Mainz’s commanding 4-1 win over Bochum.

Michael Olise, FC Bayern

Olise put in another breathtaking performance, scoring, assisting, delivering eight key passes, and completing seven dribbles in Bayern’s win.

Strikers

Nick Woltemade, Stuttgart

Woltemade was a standout player in attack, scoring one of the goals in Stuttgart’s dominant 4-0 win over Augsburg.
