Hans-Joachim Watzke (Borussia Dortmund) was re-elected as speaker of the DFL e.V. Executive Committee and thus also as chairman of the DFL Supervisory Board. Oliver Leki (Sport-Club Freiburg) was appointed as first deputy speaker and Oke Göttlich (FC St. Pauli) was named second deputy. The nine-member DFL Executive Committee is completed by Jan-Christian Dreesen (FC Bayern Munich) and Axel Hellmann (Eintracht Frankfurt), while the assembly for the 2nd Bundesliga elected Steffen Schneekloth (Holstein Kiel) and Holger Schwiewagner (SpVgg Greuther Fürth) as well as DFL managing directors Marc Lenz and Steffen Merkel.
The other members of the DFL Supervisory Board, along with Hans-Joachim Watzke and Oliver Leki, were also appointed for four years at the regular general meeting. The general assembly appointed Ralf Huschen (Hertha BSC) and Dr. Eric Huwer (Hamburger SV), while the assembly for the Bundesliga named Fernando Carro de Prada (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and the assembly of the 2nd Bundesliga elected Anne Baumann (SV Darmstadt 98) to make up the six-strong committee.
Jan-Christian Dreesen was confirmed as chairman of the licensing committee of the DFL e.V., which makes the final decisions within the association in the licensing process. Thomas Treß (Borussia Dortmund) was elected vice-chairman. Other members of the licensing committee include Gerrit Floruß (1. FC Heidenheim 1846) and Julien Zamberk (Eintracht Frankfurt), who were elected by the Bundesliga's assembly, while the 2nd Bundesliga’s assembly voted for Arnd Hovemann (Fortuna Düsseldorf) and Dirk Weißert (SpVgg Greuther Fürth).
