The Toon teenagers netted twice in the first-half at the Burnley FC Training Centre, with Kacey Wooster opening the scoring in the latter stages of the opening 45 minutes, the teenage striker's fourth league goal in as many league matches at under-18 level, before Magpies captain Matty Taylor quickly doubled the visitors' lead on the stroke of half-time.

Burnley halved the deficit in the closing stages of the league contest through James Lewis' effort before the young Magpies confirmed maximum points in Lancashire as 16-year-old forward Alfie Seldon regained Newcastle's two-goal cushion in stoppage-time.
