Gunners out to record a ninth straight win across all competitions and extend lead at top of the table
In-form Arsenal travel to Burnley on what could be another vital weekend in the Premier League title race.
It’s a third game in the space of six days for the Gunners and Mikel Arteta is expected to recall a number of key players who were rested for the midweek Carabao Cup fourth-round win over Brighton.
Those changes did not impact the north London outfit as second half goals from Ethan Nwaneri and substitute Bukayo Saka sealed an eighth straight victory across all competitions.
Attentions shift back to the Premier League where Arsenal sit top of the table, four points clear of second-placed Bournemouth and there’s a chance the lead could be extended.
That said, victory against Burnley - while expected - will not be easy as the newly-promoted side have only lost once at home in the league so far this season and that was courtesy of an injury-time penalty for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game…
Burnley vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
The match will take place at Turf Moor.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will not be televised live as it lands during the 3pm Saturday blackout.
Live blog: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog, with expert analysis from Simon Collings at the ground.
Free highlights: The Sky Sports app and YouTube channel will show highlights from 5.15pm GMT with Match of the Day broadcasting on BBC One at 10.30pm.
Burnley will be without Jordan Beyer (hamstring), Zeki Amdouni (knee) and Connor Roberts (knee) for the visit of Arsenal but former Chelsea midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu is expected to be fit.
Ugochukwu started last weekend's 3-2 win over Wolves but was forced off late on. Though there are no serious concerns about his availability for Saturday.
As for the Gunners, David Raya, Jurrien Timber, Gabriel, Riccardo Calafiori, Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice, Saka, Leandro Trossard and Viktor Gyokeres are all expected to return to the starting XI.
There are, however, doubts over William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli after the pair missed the win over Brighton with knocks sustained in the 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace last Sunday.
If Saliba is ruled out then summer signing Cristhian Mosquera is likely to deputise for the centre-back once again, while Max Dowman - who made history in the Carabao Cup tie - is an option to cover for Martinelli in the matchday squad again.
Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus are Arsenal’s longer-term injury casualties and will play no part at Turf Moor.

Arsenal are the form team in the country right now and this is a game they are expected to win. Arteta’s side may not be easy on the eye at present, but it is all about getting points on the board.
With many of their title rivals in action against each other this weekend and next, there’s an opportunity for the Gunners to pull away at the top of the table before the November international break.
Arsenal to win, 2-0.
Gunners thumped Burnley 5-0 on their last visit to Turf Moor in the 2023-24 season and are unbeaten in the last five meetings. However, Arteta has previously had his issues when facing the Clarets.
