Burnley host Crystal Palace on Wednesday night in desperate need of points to escape the relegation zone.
Scott Parker’s side have lost four consecutive Premier League games. Therefore, a positive result at Turf Moor is crucial to halt the decline. The Clarets have struggled at home recently, losing their last two matches in front of their own fans.
However, they have a decent historical record against Palace, with 21 wins in 55 meetings. Crucially, they will need to improve defensively, having conceded six goals in their last two home games.
Burnley manager Scott Parker is expected to shuffle his pack following the defeat at Brentford, with a significant change likely in midfield. Hannibal Mejbri is set to drop to the bench after his early substitution last weekend, with the more physical Lesley Ugochukwu tipped to replace him in the engine room. In attack, competition for places is heating up; Jaidon Anthony is pushing hard for a start and could replace either Zian Flemming or Lyle Foster as Parker looks to refresh his forward line.
The Clarets remain depleted at the back, with defenders Jordan Beyer (thigh) and Connor Roberts (Achilles) still sidelined due to long-term injuries. However, there is a potential boost for the attacking options, as Armando Broja faces a late fitness test. If he comes through unscathed, the striker could be included in the matchday squad to provide a dangerous option from the bench.
Burnley predicted XI: Dubravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman; Ugochukwu, Cullen, Florentino; Tchaouna, Foster, Flemming
The Premier League fixture will be played at Turf Moor on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 pm GMT.
