Burnley travel to the capital on Saturday, facing a daunting task against a Brentford side that excels at home against promoted teams.
The Clarets are currently 19th in the table and are in desperate need of points to climb out of the relegation zone. However, their recent form has been poor, with three consecutive defeats to London clubs. Scott Parker’s side has struggled at both ends of the pitch.
They have the worst Expected Goals tally in the league. Furthermore, they are the only team yet to register 100 shots this season. They will need a massive improvement if they are to get a result against a Brentford team that has won the last four meetings between these sides.
Scott Parker continues to manage a defensive injury crisis. Key defenders Jordan Beyer, Zeki Amdouni, and Connor Roberts are all out until 2026. However, Armando Broja is available after a surprise return from injury off the bench last week, though Zian Flemming is expected to keep his place up front.
In midfield, Chelsea loanee Lesley Ugochukwu is likely to start in the number 10 role. Goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka will be crucial; he has made more saves than any other keeper in the Premier League this season.
Burnley predicted XI: Dubravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman; Cullen, Florentino; Tchaouna, Ugochukwu, Anthony; Flemming
The Premier League fixture will be played at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, 29 November 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm GMT.
The match will not be broadcast live in the UK due to the 3:00 pm GMT Saturday blackout.
