BVB women on the road with national teams: debut and European Championship ticket

Jenske Steenwijk was called up for the Surinamese national team for the first time and made her debut for the South American coastal state in the CONCACAF Championship Women qualifying match against Haiti. Unfortunately, Steenwijk and Suriname lost 2-0 to the Haitian team.

Emilia Pauls secured a place at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship with the German U17 national team. The DFB team first beat Sweden 2-1 and then drew 1-1 against Denmark to secure their place at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship in Northern Ireland (3–17 May 2026) thanks to their superior goal difference.
