Former defender Stoney made her name in two spells at Arsenal. She won 10 trophies with The Gunners including two league titles and three Adobe Women’s FA Cups. Stoney also enjoyed success with Charlton Athletic where she lifted four trophies.
Another former defender, Harrop, was a real stalwart in the back-line at both Birmingham City and Tottenham Hotspur. She made more than 180 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Super League, a truly astonishing tally. She was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup winner in her early days at Birmingham City.
Former Liverpool, Chelsea, West Ham United and Bristol City boss Beard was arguably the most experienced manager in English professional football prior to his passing last year. Beard was a back-to-back Barclays Women’s Super League winner with Liverpool in 2013 and 2014 while he guided The Reds back to the top flight in 2022. Beard was a real character who was adored by everyone in the women’s game and was a mentor for many of his peers.
The Barclays Women’s Super League’s Hall of Fame has now inducted 17 legends since its launch in 2021.
