In Group C, where everything is still up for grabs, every decision will be under intense scrutiny. The choice fell on Botswana's Thabang Ketchapile to take charge of this heated encounter on Saturday between Al Hilal Omdurman and Saint-Éloi Lupopo.

This referee came under fire in 2024 for his handling of the preliminary round match between Al Ahli Tripoli and Simba SC in the same competition.

In this Group C, the Sudanese side leads the standings with 8 points, while the Congolese outfit sits at the bottom with 5 points. A single victory could turn the group on its head.
