CAF has issued bans after the epic and chaotic Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal earlier this month.

In what is now a famous incident, Senegal players left the field following Morocco being awarded a penalty just minutes after the Lions of Teranga had a goal controversially disallowed.

Senegal eventually returned to the pitch before Brahim Díaz missed what would have been a match-winning penalty with Pape Thiaw's side eventually going on to win the tournament.

However, the Senegal boss has now been handed a five-match ban for his part in the incident as well as a £72,000 fine.

There are also two-match bans Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaila Sarr as well as Morocco's Achraf Hakimi who also has a further ban suspended. Meanwhile, Ismael Saibari has been given a three-match ban.
