Al Ahly secure their spot

Al Ahly SC officially booked their place in the group stage on Saturday evening defeating Eagle Noir FC of Burundi 1-0 at Cairo International Stadium thanks to omar Kamal Abdelwahed’s decisive 58th minute strike.

The Egyptian giants advanced 2-0 on aggregate maintaining their unbeaten start to the continental campaign under Jes Thorup.
