According to the Corriere dello Sport, Chivu must decide if he wants to risk Dumfries or not.

In the case that he does not take any risks, the Romanian must then pick between Luis Henrique and Matteo Darmian for the right-flank.

Experienced Darmian has recently returned from injury in what may be his last season for Inter.

Meanwhile, Henrique only joined in the summer and is still looking for his first start.

Lautaro Martinez will return to Chivu’s starting eleven against Cagliari.

The Sardinians are one of the Argentine’s favourite clubs to play against, having scored 11 goals in 11 games against them.

Martinez has played very little since returning from international duty with Argentina.

The captain was suffering from back pain and fatigue following his return from South America.

Therefore, Italy starlet Francesco Pio Esposito has started the last two games up front with Marcus Thuram.
