Chelsea faced off against Liverpool at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opener in the sixth minute when Ryan Gravenberch found the back of the net. However, the London giants equalised in the 35th minute thanks to Enzo Fernandez’s free-kick. Both sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Chelsea defended their lines well in the second 45 minutes and managed to secure a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Merseyside.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against the Reds.

Jorgensen was solid at the back for most of the game, but should have done better to prevent Gravenberch’s strike in the first half.

RB: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little in the final third.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10

Fofana earned the ball back twice and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

CB: Levi Colwill – 7/10

He was a rock at the back and gave a good account of himself defensively.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10

He made some dangerous runs behind the opponent’s backline.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 7.5/10

Caicedo made a positive impact at both ends of the pitch.

CM: Andrey Santos – 6.5/10

He came back to defend when he could, but lacked quality on the ball.

CM: Jorell Hato – 7/10

Hato performed his defensive duties well and made one promising run with the ball.

RAM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10

He was always willing to have a strike at goal and managed to score the equaliser from his free-kick in the 35th minute.

LAM: Cole Palmer – 6.5/10

Palmer worked hard defensively but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.

ST: Joao Pedro – 7/10

He made a handful of dangerous runs with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.
