Leeds United extended their unbeaten Premier League run to four games with a convincing 4-1 win over Crystal Palace at Elland Road, moving six points clear of the relegation zone.

The opening stages were quiet, aside from a nasty clash of heads between Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Marc Guéhi, which required treatment.

Leeds finally broke through in the 38th minute when Calvert-Lewin tucked away a rebound after Dean Henderson saved his initial effort. The striker added a second in first-half stoppage time, heading home from another Ethan Ampadu long throw.

After the break, Leeds dominated. Ampadu added a third goal on the hour mark, finishing from close range following a corner.

Palace’s consolation came from Justin Devenny, who converted a late penalty, but , Anton Stach sealed the 4-1 victory with a superb injury-time free-kick.

The win means Leeds move six points clear of the relegation zone. Palace, meanwhile, drop to eighth and remain winless in games following European fixtures this season.
