In the middle of May, Milan Futuro’s fate will be decided by the relegation play-off games against SPAL. Unfortunately, Massimo Oddo will have to do without Francesco Camarda and Alex Jimenez.

After finishing in 18th place in Group B of Serie C, Milan Futuro are currently preparing for the relegation play-off games against SPAL. These are scheduled for May 10th and 17th, with the Rossoneri finishing away from home (as SPAL finished in 17th place).

Unfortunately, as made clear by the regulations, Massimo Oddo will have to make do without the likes of Camarda and Jimenez. The latter was probably not going to feature anyway as he’s busy with the first team, but the striker certainly would have been a massive boost.

“Only players who have reached 25 appearances in the second-team squads during the regular season may be used in the play-off or play-out games. Alternatively, 12 appearances if the player was registered by the Serie A club from 1 January 2025,” the regulations state (via Calciomercato.com).

Camarda and Jimenez are both stuck at 18 appearances so they won’t be available.

In the penultimate game of the season, Camarda bagged a brace and he has seven goals in total for the Futuro side this season. The experienced 32-year-old Andrea Magrassi, one of the overage players, will likely start up front instead.
