Days after Marc Brys was dismissed, Rigobert Song has expressed his desire to return as head coach of Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions.

A former manager of the Lions and an iconic figure in Cameroonian football, Rigobert Song has reaffirmed his commitment to the nation and his readiness to step up if called upon by the Samuel Eto'o-led Fecafoot. "I’m a football fanatic and a Cameroonian patriot, and I think I prove it every time in my own humble way. Wherever Cameroon needs me, I’ll always be there. (…)" he stated recently.
