Camilo Duran’s Celtic career is off to a flying start, with the new bhoy bagging goals in his first two matches in the Hoops.

The Colombian forward, who only recently joined Celtic from Qarabag, netted on his debut against Sporting CP before grabbing an equaliser on Saturday (July 18) against Middlesbrough at Celtic Park.

With another friendly at Paradise, this time against AC Milan, this weekend (Saturday, July 25, KO 3pm), the striker says that he is determined to keep finding the back of the net for Martin O’Neill’s men.

Speaking to the media at Celtic Park this afternoon (Thursday, July 23), Duran also said that he is delighted with his start to life at Celtic.

“I’m very happy to be here.” Duran said. “It’s been great to meet all my teammates and I’m just excited to get started.

“It's been a great pre-season. I'd already done a month of training before joining Celtic, so I'm feeling really good.

“Who wouldn’t be happy with two goals in two games in this beautiful shirt? I just hope there are more goals to come.”

On this weekend’s match against AC Milan, he added: “It's great to be playing against such a huge team like Milan, and we'll prepare in the best way and hope that things go our way.”
