After long hours of anticipation, the Confederation of African Football has officially released the full list of match officials appointed for the CAN 2025 quarter-final between Algeria and Nigeria—an announcement closely watched given the stakes of this high-profile clash.

The match will be officiated by Senegalese referee Issa Sy, who will be assisted on the sidelines by his compatriots Dibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura. The third assistant referee will be Kenyan Gilbert Kipkoech Cheruiyot, while the fourth official role has been assigned to Peter Waweru Kamaku.

Video assistant refereeing will be overseen by Gabonese official Pierre Ghislain Atcho, supported by Stephen Onyango Yiembe and Leticia Antonella Viana, with Yahya Hadqa serving as the referee assessor. For the record, kick-off for this quarter-final is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. in Marrakech.
