Ademola Lookman and Odilon Kossounou are set to leave Atalanta to join the Nigerian national team ahead of CAN 2025. Their absence will certainly be felt, and Raffaele Palladino makes no secret of it.

The Italian coach confirmed that his winger, who has been indispensable this season, will join the Super Eagles camp next Monday. If Nigeria has a deep run in the tournament, Atalanta could be without Lookman for almost a month. The club will also have to do without Odilon Kossounou, who has been called up by Ivory Coast:
