A new addition to the Tunisian national team’s technical staff as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations draws near.
The Tunisian Football Federation has announced that Sami Trabelsi has opted to bring in Aymen Balbouli as his assistant for the upcoming challenges.
With 73 caps guarding the Carthage Eagles’ net, Aymen Balbouli brings a wealth of experience to the squad, having featured for several clubs including Club Africain, Etoile Sportive du Sahel, Al-Batin, and Al-Adalah.
It’s worth noting that Tunisia will play three friendly matches during the November break to fine-tune their preparations for CAN 2025. They will face Mauritania (November 12) and Jordan (November 14) in Rades, before taking on Brazil (November 18) in Lille, France.
In the tournament’s final phase, the 2004 African champions will compete in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda.
