South Africa head coach Hugo Broos has just announced his squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.

In his selection, Hugo Broos has called up nine Orlando Pirates players, five from Mamelodi Sundowns, while notably, no Kaizer Chiefs stars made the 25-man squad. The roster also features two players from the U20 national team that clinched the African title this spring: Tylon Smith and Shandre Campbell. Former Monaco player Lyle Foster, now at Burnley, is among the few internationals included.

The biggest omission is Sundowns playmaker Themba Zwane, who was left out due to fitness issues that prevented him from being ready in time for final selection. Check out the squad below:
