A goal scorer and a decisive player, Ibrahim Mbaye stands out as one of the revelations of CAN 2025. For the Trappes native, it was the right choice. No regrets after lifting the trophy with the Lions of Teranga.

"Winning in our first CAN is huge. Seeing an entire nation behind us gives us immense joy. I will never regret choosing to play for Senegal because it was a decision from the heart. I want to thank everyone who supported us. It's thanks to them that we've come this far," he told Senegal's national television, RTS.
