Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), addressed on Wednesday the significance of Morocco hosting the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). He emphasized that the success of the event would not belong exclusively to Morocco.

“Morocco's success in organizing the Africa Cup of Nations will not just be the Kingdom's achievement, but a triumph for all of Africa,” he declared yesterday in Salé. This perspective highlights Morocco’s commitment to using CAN 2025 as a platform to showcase Africa’s ability and potential to host world-class sporting events.

As a reminder, Morocco is also part of the trio set to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
