The two favorites of Group C meet this Saturday, December 27, at the Fès Sports Complex for a highly anticipated showdown. Nigeria and Tunisia, both victorious in their opening matches at CAN 2025, face off at 9:00 p.m. with first place in the group at stake.

The Super Eagles and the Carthage Eagles approach this encounter with different mindsets. Nigeria snatched a hard-fought win against Tanzania (2-1), revealing some defensive weaknesses despite the attacking strength of their starting eleven. Tunisia, on the other hand, delivered a convincing performance by dominating Uganda (3-1), with winger Elias Achouri netting a brace to underline his sparkling form.

While the Super Eagles’ coach opts for a 4-3-1-2 system with Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams leading the line, his Tunisian counterpart, Sami Trabelsi, has chosen a 4-3-3 formation. Mejbri is pushed forward to join Achouri and Mastouri in attack.
