Group C of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) will feature Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.

On paper, the Super Eagles and the Carthage Eagles appear to be the favorites to reach the round of 16, even though the Cranes and the Taifa Stars are well-equipped to spring a surprise.

Here are the four standout players to keep an eye on in Group C.

Victor Osimhen (Nigeria)

The Galatasaray striker is the attacking leader of a Nigerian squad that continues to frustrate, despite its immense potential.

The Lagos-born forward has notched up 31 goals and 12 assists in 46 appearances with the Super Eagles.

Hannibal Mejbri (Tunisia)

The Burnley midfielder will be looking to guide Tunisia to a second CAN title after their 2004 triumph.

At just 22 years old, Hannibal Mejbri already has 39 caps for the Carthage Eagles, with one goal and three assists to his name.
