For the first time in this CAN 2025, Brahim Diaz was kept quiet. The tournament's top scorer couldn’t break through the Nigerian defense.

Up against the rock-solid Nigerian backline, Brahim Diaz failed to find the net—something he had managed to do in each of the first five matches of CAN 2025.

The only goal of the semi-finals was scored by Sadio Mané, who now has two goals in the tournament.
