The Algeria women's national football team's preparations for the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations have entered a new phase. Since February 24, the players have gathered at the Sidi Moussa National Technical Center to begin a training camp aimed at laying the foundations for their continental campaign.

On the first day of the camp, the coaching staff reunited with most of the called-up squad. In the evening, the Algerian internationals held their first training session in a calm atmosphere, marking the start of a progressive training program.

As part of this camp, two friendly matches are scheduled in Cairo against the Egypt women's national football team. Head coach Farid Benstiti will use these encounters to fine-tune tactics and assess the squad’s form ahead of the CAN.
