CAN U17: Here is the draw for the UFOA-A zone qualifying tournament

The UFOA-A conducted the draw for its qualifying tournament for the 16th U17 Africa Cup of Nations this Monday, September 15, 2025. Eight West African teams learned their opponents for the competition set to take place from October 3 to 18, 2025, in Mali.

The draw divided the eight teams into two balanced groups. Group A features Mali, Liberia, Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau. The host nation will face its neighbors in a pool where home advantage could prove decisive. Group B brings together Senegal, Sierra Leone, Mauritania, and Guinea.

The three stadiums selected to host the matches are the Mamadou Diarra H. Stadium in Koulikoro, the Mamadou Konaté Stadium, and the Ouezzin Coulibaly Stadium in Bamako. Only the two finalists from this Malian tournament will secure their spots for the final phase of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations.
