Canal+ recorded its biggest audience of the season on Wednesday night as PSG reached the Champions League final with a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich.

According to Médiamétrie, the match averaged 3.31 million viewers with an 18.3% share, placing the pay-TV channel top of the evening's ratings.

Including Canal+ Foot, which also carried the game, the audience rose to 3.81 million, with a peak of 4.4 million towards the end of the first half.

The previous high dated back to Tuesday 28 April, when the spectacular first leg between PSG and Bayern finished 5-4 and drew 2.85 million viewers on Canal+ Foot.

The final between PSG and Arsenal is scheduled for Saturday 30 May at 18:00, and will be co-broadcast by Canal+ and M6.
