Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City have stretched their winless run in the second tier to four games.

The Citizens are yet to win a match this season after playing to a 1-1 draw with Kruger United at Athlone Stadium on Sunday.

City are currently in 14th place on the second-tier standings, with three points accumulated from the first four league outings.

Meanwhile, Casric Stars pulled one point clear at the summit of the table after settling for a one-all draw with Baroka FC.

Elsewhere, Milford secured a 3-1 victory over The Bees FC to narrow the gap on log leaders to one point, having amassed nine points thus far.

Highbury and Upington City claimed slender 1-0 wins at the expense of Midland Wanderers and Gomora United, respectively, to round up the top four.

In the middle of the pack, the University of Pretoria played to a goalless draw with Hungry Lions as Venda FC and Leicesterford City replicated the result in their encounter.

In Limpopo, bottom-placed Black Leopards, who are under a FIFA transfer ban, played to a 1-1 draw with Lerumo Lions at Thohoyandou Stadium.
