Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Cape Town City have received a major boost in their quest for promotion to the lucrative Betway Premiership.
The Cape club was relegated from the topflight last season as they couldn't save their status via the PSL Relegation/Promotion playoffs after a dismal 15th place finish.
City had a slow start to life in the second-tier, failing to register a win in their first six league outings, before beating newly promoted Midland Wanderers with a stoppage time goal last month.
The Citizens currently sit in 12th place with 12 points accumulated from 10 matches. Jan Vredman's side is seven points adrift of the first playoff spot.
Now, the John Comitis-owned club has welcomed Namibian sensation Prins Tjiueza back to training after a lengthy injury layoff.
The 23-year-old forward had been on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury during the PSL Relegation/ Promotion playoffs in July.
Meanwhile, City will host Upington City in their next league outing after the FIFA international break. Interestingly, Musa Nyatama's men are on a two-game losing streak.
