A win over Leeds United in the third round has booked Chelsea's place in the Carabao Cup fourth round draw.

Chelsea will discover their Carabao Cup fate when the fourth round draw takes place on Wednesday evening.

Xabi Alonso's side booked their place in the fourth round after overcoming a 2-0 deficit to beat Leeds United in a thrilling 6-3 tie at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea began their Carabao Cup campaign in the earlier round of round two after failing to qualify for European football this season.

Alonso's side now await their fate after beating both Luton Town and Leeds United, with the Blues one step closer to Wembley and March's final.

Chelsea are confirmed to be joined by AFC Bournemouth and Crystal Palace after their respective wins over Lincoln City and Middlesbrough. Sunderland and Newcastle United are both in the fourth round draw after narrow 1-0 wins over Hull City and Millwall, respectively.

Following European involvement, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are all involved in the second week of ties, with the third round being split over two weeks due to scheduling clashes.

The big tie of the third round still to be played is Liverpool against Tottenham at Anfield, while West Ham and Fulham face off in a London derby.

Fourth round ties are scheduled to be played in the week commencing October 26.

The EFL will confirm the finalised ball number on Wednesday, September 16, morning.

So far, six sides have confirmed their progression. They are: AFC Bournemouth, Bradford City, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Sunderland.

10 further fixtures remain, with nine of the ties taking place before Wednesday's draw. Manchester City's tie against Norwich City is scheduled for Thursday, September 17.
