Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted at a potentially prominent role for youngster Endrick in his side’s next outing.

Real are of course primed to return to action on Tuesday evening.

Fresh off a hard-fought downing of Leganés in La Liga over the weekend, Los Blancos will shift attentions back towards matters in the cup, in a Copa del Rey meeting with Real Sociedad.

A place in the competition’s finale lies in wait, against one of Barcelona or Atlético Madrid.

As things stand, it is Real Madrid who boast the advantage when it comes to the scoreline, owing to a narrow victory at Anoeta late last month.

Endrick was the man on target in San Sebastian, and could well be afforded the chance to keep alive what has been an impressive individual run in the Copa del Rey tomorrow evening.

Drawn on his young frontman’s lack of recent game-time during his pre-match press conference on Monday, Carlo Ancelotti explained:

“I don’t see Endrick being worried. He’s doing very well and I’m very happy with his work and attitude. I see Endrick motivated and tomorrow he has chances to play… in the Copa del Rey he’s been excellent so far.”
