Brazil will begin their 2030 World Cup cycle this month, with Carlo Ancelotti set to name his squad on Wednesday, nine September.

The first FIFA window of the new cycle runs from 21 September to six October, with friendlies launching Brazil's preparations.

Brazil meet Australia on 25 September at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville, then again on 29 September at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

They will then face India for the first time on three October at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, the Salt Lake Stadium, in Kolkata.

The tour broadens the Seleção's footprint in less explored markets, and the India game is expected to draw significant local interest. Ancelotti's focus remains on competitive performance during the window.

Flamengo are monitoring Brazil's 2026 commitments, as the club often supplies players to Ancelotti's squads.

The 2030 World Cup will be staged chiefly in Morocco, Portugal and Spain, with Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay to host three matches to mark the centenary. The tournament is scheduled for eight June to 21 July.
