However, having been born in Austria, the 22-year-old is eligible to represent Ralf Rangnick's team as well as Nigeria and France.

According to German outlet Kicker, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder is now open to playing for Austria after having previously wanted to only play for England at international level.

The former Aston Villa and Chelsea player initially joined BVB on loan last season before making a permanent move in the summer. This season he has played 26 times for the German side, scoring three times and making one assist.
