Carol Portaluppi, daughter of Renato Gaúcho, took to social media to tease friend Jhon Arias of Palmeiras after Vasco’s 2-1 Brasileirão victory at São Januário on Thursday. According to Globo.com, the influencer addressed the Colombian, formerly of Fluminense, following the match.

She posted Instagram videos during the game, then shared her reaction to the comeback goal, scored by Cuiabano.

Portaluppi delivered a light-hearted message to Arias, saying it was good to see him and that he should come back often. She also joked that she was doing skin care while stressing over the finale.

At Renato Gaúcho’s unveiling, the coach joked that Carol manages her father’s social media. She praised the players’ effort while stressing her father also deserves significant credit.

Carol added that she is very proud of him and believes he merits full recognition. She mentioned a string of matchday superstitions over colours and routines, and felt they worked.
