Carrascal available for Flamengo’s next match

Carrascal was sent off against Corinthians in the Supercopa do Brasil on Sunday, yet he remains available for Flamengo’s meeting with Internacional in the Brasileirão.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the red card does not trigger a suspension in any competition, since expulsions in the Supercopa do Brasil do not carry bans.

Even if Flamengo feature in the Supercopa do Brasil again in 2027, Carrascal would still be eligible to play. The midfielder is therefore free to take the field for the club.

Flamengo face Internacional at 19:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the second round of the Brasileirão.

The match will be broadcast on Premiere pay-per-view and on SporTV.
