Carrascal on bench as Colombia confirm line-up to face France | OneFootball

Colombia have named their side to face France, with Flamengo’s Jorge Carrascal among the substitutes for the pre-World Cup friendly.

According to Coluna Do Fla, kick-off is at 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday 29 at Northwest Stadium in Landover, United States.

Colombia’s starting XI: Álvaro Montero, Daniel Muñoz, Davison Sánchez, Juan David Cabral, Jhan Mojica, Jefferson Lerma, Richard Ríos, Jhon Árias, James Rodríguez, Luís Díaz, Luis Suárez.

Head coach Néstor Lorenzo has preferred James Rodríguez, Luís Díaz and Luis Suárez in the attacking roles. Carrascal could come on in the second half.

Carrascal has been a regular in recent Colombia squads, notably during World Cup qualifying, and has a good chance of making the final tournament list.

Colombia are in Group K alongside Portugal, Uzbekistan and the playoff winner to emerge in Mexico from DR Congo or Jamaica.
