Real Madrid will lock horns with Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium on Sunday night as they look to secure a good result on their travels in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a narrow 2-1 win over Raya Vallecano recently, which should give some confidence going into this game.
Alvaro Arbeloa will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this game. Both Alvaro Carreras and Rodrygo could play from the start of this clash away at Valencia.
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for the Madrid giants after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Raul Asencio will play alongside Dean Huijsen at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep a solid shape at the back throughout the 90 minutes.
Federico Valverde will hope to give a good account of himself as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
David Alaba will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga will feature as the holding midfielders as they hope to make life difficult for the home side at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Rodrygo, Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono will operate just ahead of them as part of Arbeloa’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if Real Madrid are to create enough chances to win this contest at the Mestalla.
Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for the Madrid giants in the final third. He would be eager to make a difference for Los Blancos by finding the back of the net this weekend.
Gonzalo Garcia will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to impress in the latter stages of the clash if needed.
